smell the smoke in the mountains deep inhales in iron lungs feel the struggle within an exodus of carbon fire it burns were surrounded by excess and deliverance heavy air it slows our thoughts we enter dreams we enter loss the atmosphere it closes in a bed we've made a bed we've been making out of our own sins of ecologic dividends generations came and went and left us with monuments devoid of use devoid of sense that linger still with arguments the smell of smoke becomes stronger a more imminent a danger our collective mortal coil surges grasping in collective urges survival is a mutual use a common dream a common thirst if only we could hold on to empathy that barrels down smell the smoke in the mountains our futures on the horizons as we wait in valleys crashing down how will we sleep? how will we sound?

Youre not alone in calling out to ghosts in mourning can the hear us? dead name in the air and it dissipates in our body were haunted loved ones lost to the living in a world that keeps on spinning in heartbreak as the heart it keeps on skipping beating broken and living in respect the ancestry of self is made of more than cells its made of memory look in the mirror its your father your long lost grandmother its you ten years old its misunderstood history a search for identity its a legacy its final and forgiven a washed hand for mending whats to be sewn as grief its meant for closure to start anew but older its a stepping stone as you're not alone in calling your insides out while falling into yourself
3.
ballad of a heart weaver's journey into the fabric of existence your heartstrings weave a blanket a quilt made out of comfort warmth and i've become entangled softly nestled inside of it binded and benign in bondage sweet gentle kind heartstrings play this song a quilt made of melody its here while i am gone i hope its warm as memory can be
4.
Theres something deep inside of my heart and it's human sized im not sure if i should get it checked out or whether i am fine should i call a doctor or a therapist? i have a growth, but it may be benign inside my chest is it love? or a condition? the jury is out but i think ill be fine in this court cause we have been courting for a while and were good sports plus there's no judge, no executioner, no chopping block just me and my own neurotic analytic beating heart is this love? with no tradition? there's something deep inside of my heart and its human sized but it shouldn't be a concern so long as i am yours and you are mine

Little Boxes 02:48
little boxes built on modern lies ticky tacky made of modern lies theres pink ones, green ones, blue and yellow ones markets full of boxes built under the sun and i want to check no with explanation i want to blow a hole through the square we dont even own the conversation cause what has come before has put rainbows in a box and the spectrum in the binary but the box is just a cage and i just want to climb a tree i wanna leap of paper dive into dimension i want social security to be real relations we have rights on paper digital friends in a digital age we have search bar for identity but our computer screens are just little boxes built on modern lies ticky tacky made of modern lies theres good ones, bad ones just ask pandora a box full of gifts and memoria

Behold 03:27
behold a baker baking bread for a gluten free friend good thing their flower's folly is imitations best behold a vegan chicken tender upon a bbq salted with the same salt that's shared with me and you behold a beer, behold a bong who's users moderate behold a trust, behold a song that serves to celebrate behold a lover that wont pretend that lust will never end entrusting with a heart that loves past the bed behold with eyes and understanding whats beyond the ears and this nonsense we all declare is worth a cheer behold a family behold their blood which is beyond quantum behold the folks that are around you and see whats within them behold the diverse realities of who you call a friend behold its more than the sum of its parts that can be divided.

Ethereality 01:56
take it or leave it at home experiences you've outgrown take your will, its yours alone a crucible of your own tone take whats good or glean the sadness when affect calls, you must take hold a foggy notion, a floating lotus who's roots stem from the ick and muck there's beauty in the rattled stillness a strength in calm, a strength un-fucked when the world crumbles in your mindscape the mortar melts into new molds castles built on sand do crumble emotions built on rubble stand transience becomes your shuttle to futures of more stable land

Summer Heat 02:48
drenched in the summer sun with beams from head to toe sweat beading on my brow begin to slowly roll theres a party in the neighborhood and a fire in the works someones got a kiddy pool and an ice chest full of perks the buzz of the powerlines hang upon the air its the soundtrack to my mind and my own blank stare the heat always makes me want to curl up on the floor embrace my own lethargy and embrace that im a bore dreaming disjointed dreams of fantasies of cold in a parallel existence where im cool and in the fold the heat feels like a cage or maybe its my skin either way i dont feel like moving any limbs theres a couple bands in town that i havent seen for years and it fills me with desire to bare the heat and have a beer but the summer makes me only thirst for the taste of sweet water to sit in front of fans and sweat until i burst despite all festivities my struggles still increase commotion counteracts my motivation till its ceased and somehow im content with watching my garden grow and the slow ripening of what in spring i have sowed but in the end its worth it to get out and bare the night and luckily when ssun goes down i feel a bit more might and its a good thing to get out and not let the restlessness compound cause we only have one life to live so we must make it resound
9.
a cool breeze in the twilight of summer hints at autumns calling a wintery wind winds down like a curtain call for last rounds shadows move under leaves that flutter in a dappled dance of light and shade warmth in my hands flickers with lights dance change in the air and the sea as it rumbles in its perpetual wake as the earth it tilts in space a wild ride with grace tides they churn so transcendental cradling finite moments the seasons are here and gone like a light flickering in palm
10.
The heart of the market is labor often invisible and sometimes blurred scores of beating hearts struggling for life with many holding hands to brace through the strife life's a search to be seen for your core unmaligned to be valued for your heart and its labor's true design the innocence of love and time labors unpaid by those who are blind a reckoning comes for those who recognize the systems failure with open eyes industries are a shattering farce streamlined production that break our hearts for genders and services breaking molds values flux based on what is sold assimilation into the dominant's might means a hearts survival, but only in short sight but there's a path in darkness that can be forged with a light by understanding eachother's worths and plights a radical resistance is a radical embrace of eachother's roots that markets erase the heart is not blind it helps to see and navigate how to be free
11.
where do i set my temper is it to semper fi? when faith to power only betrays my insides my self feels divided e plurebus unum on a continuum my heart is something more than whats anatomical its indivisible with liberty and justice it beats in my right hand but it knows no allegiance to whats beyond its own command a plural life animated by anima and animus as binary eyes see something just so anonymous im more than a body more than a force merely controlled persona non grata persona plenus gratis
12.
a wall we have hit lets leap for the ground division where weve met somehow lets get around with will theres a way with work we can make change meet me at the dawn at the summit we want torn down we beat our heads against what we dread against the hardness of walls despite the softness of arms
13.
Carapace 02:43
in a carapace, im waiting my wings a liquid mess my insides are a mass of what is becoming yet whats more a mind can take is a mind beyond me self in a shell in deep dormancy being and nothingness is a womb of mine i struggle my own muscles to feel the will of life as old as i am in transit to my future self i impart my own wisdom into the shell i build a spell of my own protection cast a blanket of transformation from my past soon i will rupture waking made new from the old spreading my wings and stretching from my shell's protective hold
14.
